We figured this one out. His phone had a block on setting up the app from an unknown source (not just one but two). Anyway, it downloaded and installed, so thank you for all of the help attempts, I truly thought we had bypassed that problem with unchecking the one setting on his phone.

I didn't change any permissions on the tab, I did click to restore default and saved...should I change the version on the app settings? Right now it is set at 2.2 with the same setting in the Target area...

I will check these things.

It is an HTC One, Cricket provider and version 4.0.4

It downloads but disappears shortly after, even though he checked "yes" to install in spite of not being from a trusted source

I built a test app and wanted to share the link to another person with an Android phone. He says it won't work on his phone, yet it works fine on mine (Samsung Galaxy S4). I am using the "Free" account at the moment, is that why?
