Hi Appery,
In the urgency to have the app approved, I removed the tick from auto update for the time being and once the update appears I will reinstate it and resubmit to Apple. I'll keep you posted on Apple's response to the new submission.

Thanks for this response too. I did read somewhere that google analytics api may be considered as an IDFA but I will take your word for it and select no.

Thank you for getting back to me regarding this. I have used this and it seems to work well. I added a bit more code so it would read from a storage item so I could link it to my database. All is working well.
