I trial max's steps,, and the tutorial as well and they didn't work with me

I added Phone number field to the users predefined collection.. I want to validate it?
I used the codes given in the link and the page it self is not working !

Can you send me the steps I can follow to integrate my own map to the application ? I will NOT be using Google maps .. And I also need to apply routing on it
