Mapped geolocations from a database

Evgene

Thank you
locations_addresses_list_service does not exist in the drop-down so either it has to be created or a previous step has been missed. For the moment the system will not allow me to create a Database Service (I think it is being upgraded) so I cannot retrace my steps.

Using the Google Maps API

Evgene: I have tried as best I can. It simply does not execute and that is because I am at a loss as to how to use the example correctly. I am afraid I am going to have to conclude it can't be done and try another solution. Thank you. Chris

Using the Google Maps API

The code you are referring me to is similar to that suggested by developer.google at the earlier link you provided. The end result is definitely what I am after. What I miss is how to marry the latlng data from my collection 'locations' with the content string that should also be from the same colle...

Using the Google Maps API

I have worked myself dilligently through the above tutorial. Having created the database 'location' and a collection called 'locations' it should be possible to add another column (say 'infowindow' string) and have its contents displayed at the location of the relevant marker when the marker is clic...

Mapped geolocations from a database

Katya I have followed the tutorial but the example does not open an InfoWindow nor does it specify how I should interact with the databse I create as part of the previous tutorial. Appery.io tutorials do not end with links to working examples so I do not know whether I am missing something or not. I...

Mapped geolocations from a database

Evgene I thank you for your patience and the regular replies. They are much appreciated. As usual I will study the tutorial and I assume the Java code at Step 8 is where the alternative code is added in? The link to Info Window at Dev.Google is also useful but probably a little advanced relative to ...

Mapped geolocations from a database

Evgene Thanks for responding. After Step 7 a Test should be run to generate the $ It is either implied or not specified. Once I did this the missing $ appeared. Question 2 Is it possible to display data at or with the marker retrieved from the database. If so is there a tutorial I can read/try. Idea...
