Not sure where to start. eg your component is called Panel what is the jQuery equivalent I need to look at and what properties can I change.

Is it possible.
If so what is the syntax please?

Is it possible to make the popout panels modeless. ie you can carry on working on the main page and need a button click to close the panel.

This would be good for landscape or larger screens where there is more real-estate.
