can you use curl in an appery app?
Is it possible to use Curl in my app. My api requires curl in order to make calls to it with image data.
I need to know if this is possible in appery.

I may end up using something like JQUERY EasyUI and building my own backend. This would expose my MySQL DB as JSON web service as well.

I am looking for a free server software to run on the server my company owns. It is ubuntu. What backend can I run that will most resemble customer console and or database functionality. If I move my app once its produced to another hosting provider, I lose the customer console and the database back...
