I resolved this. I believe it had to do with overlap in the id values, but I'm not entirely positive.

Thanks for the reply. I set the control to map.control and I have the same issue. There's no errors in the dev console. Note that the tutorial only mentions setting control on the map itself, but I set it to the children markers as well. Either way single markers still work, it's multiple markers us...

Figured it out, I was stuck on the NgView's properties not the PAGE's properties. You must select the page to restore the footer, and set it's display to true.
