I tried this JS window.location.href='tel:' + localStorage.getItem('variable_name');
and I cant seem to get the tel-number to load.

I would like to have a button to invoke the phones download file folder so I can upload file to DB.

can you build a native app, but export it out as a web app. I realize this would lose any device functions such as camera and geolocation ect...
just trying to kill 2 birds with one stone!
