Mobile App Input component type as Number only

How would I know it changed value then (if it doesn't get events)?

So I guess I get one or another: either fully supported components (with events, etc.) or specialized keyboards. I'll live without the keyboard for now.
How much longer before the next release?

Mobile App Input component type as Number only

Any news on this? I tried both suggestions... added a property with type, number values ... No go. Tried changing the type in javascript unload, but safari complained that type property cannot be changed. What now? I was hoping to force the device to show the numbers keyboard. It would be much easie...

I found out that works indeed. The control isn't working as expected but I am debugging the code now... I suspect I am not mapping the service call correctly.
