No. My Macbook can't run iOS Lion which is required to get the most recent version. Does it work in that version?

I can only get 4.2. My computer can't run the OS Lion to get 4.3.

I just exported my program to xcode to run on the xcode simulator and I received a bunch of errors: 
You can see in the image all of the errors. Can you tell me why there are errors?
