We are planning to launch a separate platform status page. This way everyone knows where to go to get an update.
We are planning to launch a separate platform status page. This way everyone knows where to go to get an update.
This issue was caused by an integration with another library that we use internally. This impacted the platform pages and the App Builder. All the backend services were not impacted and all the apps in production were running.
We are that some of you might not be able to load or view the Apps page or other platform pages. Our engineers are working on this issue. We will update as soon as we have more information. We are sorry about this problem.
The plan for now - 3rd or 4th quarter of 2017.
The app (client) doesn't run in Appery.io. It runs in the browser/WebView. You can use any JavaScript library, including Google Place Photos. You need to debug the app and see where exactly it fails to work properly.
We sometimes need to push an important update if we find a bug which can't wait until the next platform update.
We are very sorry about this. We simply forgot to activate the maintenance message. We will make sure this won't happen again.
Using Auto-update you can update web resources (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, pages).
To get the new popup which shows that an update is happening, you first need to do a traditional update via Google Play.
You can see the update here: https://blog.appery.io/2016/10/octobe.... You first need to do a regular update (via Google Play) in order for this functionality to be available in the app. The Auto-update can't update any native/Cordova parts.
