We can replicate, this option is available as part of our Enterprise plan.
When you invoke a custom API Express service, its flow has an execution time limit. The Pro plan has 5 seconds and the Team plan has 15 seconds.
We are not aware of any customers that experience the same issue. One option you could try -- upgrade your subscription to a plan that allows more API Express service invocation time.
The public Appery.io platform is running on the Amazon cloud. In general, a ping indicates the connection speed between you and the server. That's not something we can control.
Is your database already exposed via APIs?
We fixed a few minor bugs related to billing, email notifications and What's New panel. Backend Services (runtime) - no changes there.

That's good. Were you able to import the login service or you first had to delete it from the App Builder? I'm asking because the login service in the screenshot is grayed out and that usually means the service is already imported.
Can you create a brand new API Express project with one test service and test if you can import it inside the App Builder?
