Oh. This didn't happen to me because I just renamed the splash.png to splash.9.png. Isn't that what I was supposed to do? In an earlier comment that s what Maryna said we should do. I used a path 9 tool to make my launch images and then changed the splash.png to splash.9.png and now I am getting a build error when trying to create my .apk file. It is the only thing I have done different with the app settings so I am thinking this is the problem. Please advise.

I just figured it out. I didn't realize there was a place in app settings to change the version.

As far as I know, I can't do anything to my binary file since it comes from you guys. Am I mistaken?

I am not able to submit a new version of my app to iTunes. I am receiving the attached errors. I used the .ipa file that was generated by you.
