In second case: why you are setting the label to a fixed value?
It should be like this:

   Also, try to save app and test it from the Projects menu in Tiggzi, everything should work OK.

Even though sending binary data is not yet possible via Tiggzi defined service, you can send binary data if you write the service request in JavaScript.
