Landscape iPad apps crashing

Under the new platform, my iPad app crashes if I select a default orientation (e.g., landscape left. Both for apps I created before the upgrade and ones I have created since.

return [[UIWebView alloc] initWithFrame:bounds]; [Thread 1: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (code=1, address = 0x24)]

They do not crash of I don't set the orientation (but then they are portrait on ipad which is not what I want.

It's the STATUS BAR problem. I turned it off and now it works. Is this on your FIX list?

We are going to introduce iOS8 support in a few weeks, there shouldn't be this issue anymore.
