I have added the following link to a carousel as an image type

however the result is a blank display in App & tester but works fine on IE & chrome
How can I fix this?

1) Please make your image static http instead of https if it's possible
2) Upload your image to media manager of Appery.io project

If I load the image into the Media Manager, how can I add the image in the carousel?

You can add into your carousel item image component and then set "Asset" property.

Also don't forget to set carousel item type to "html".
