Android Build Crashes on Push Notification

Hi,

I'm having the issue of Push notifications crashing my Android build. Everything is working fine with iOS, However when an Android phone receives the notification the following message appears

"Unfortunately, COYA has stopped"

COYA being the name of the app.

I've read a previous post regarding this which said to reset android permissions and do a new build. I've tried this, but still having the same issue.

Any ideas?

Android Build Crashes on Push Notification

Hello Paul,

Could you clarify have you changed anything on the Source tab?

If you did, these custom changes might cause the build to fail. Try to rollback the custom source changes and try to build the app again. Here is how to rollback custom source change: https://docs.appery.io/docs/appbuilde...

When you make changes in the Source view for a particular page, the visual editor for that page will not be updated (until you rollback the changes).

Android Build Crashes on Push Notification

Hi Sergiy,

Only changes to the source tab were for iOS with the following

//CODE_SIGN_RESOURCE_RULES_PATH = $(SDKROOT)/ResourceRules.plist

and adding a "font" folder under web-resources.

So don't think this is the issue

Android Build Crashes on Push Notification

Hi, I am also experiencing this problem.

Even though I followed the tutorial, after installing the app (exported via .apk), it keeps crashing right after around 3 seconds of running.

If you have solutions on how to fix this problem, please do share.

Thank you very much!
