I will send this to support, but wanted to warn forum members of a possible serious problem. My mapping of a service result to a local storage variable has custom JS code which is not being preserved when the mapping is saved. Hopefully this is something dumb I am (not) doing, and will post an update here.
I sent support the issue about 20 minutes ago, but unlike what has been normal have not received any confirmation (hopefully nothing is wrong with the support system). In any case, I mentioned my app's name, that it has been shared, and the steps to replicate. If that has not been received, let me know ASAP and I'll resubmit.
Please open browser debugger and check whether there is some console errors.
Yurii thanks, but just to be clear - I lose the mapping code even when I open the platform and go to mapping and save without any changes and without running the app. Are you saying a console error could still be produced? And why would it happen now (after the update) with a restored earlier version that was perfectly-savable?
Unfortunatly i don't know what could be a reason of the problem you faced with. Otherwise i would provide a solution.
We still need more information about this issue.
I've tested mappings in my app and no any problem has been find there.
- Open browser tab.
- Open browser debugger in this tab.
- Load project in this tab.
- Check whether you have any errors in the browser debugger console.
- If there is any errors - provide us with screen shot of this problem.

Evgene, sadly it wasn't a bad dream. I've sent a link to support of a video showing how my problem occurs (it's by canceling rather than saving the map) and the dubugger screen which hopefully you'll find helpful. By the way, I'm concerned that I seem to not be getting auto-responses when I submit a new ticket - has there been a change on your part? Thanks.
