We will test first, need to figure out where the error is coming from.

Hello Paul,

This is an update on your issue.
Our developers have looked into it and didn't get the first error.
It looks like it relates to some external user plugin.
As for the problem with blurry video, the issue can be reproduced and video is clear after it starts playing.

Hi Galyna,

What you describe is exactly my problem. The video plays ok after starting but the blurry holding image looks really bad.

This doesn't happen if the VideoID is put directly in the appery visual builder, the image is clear and looks good in this case.

You say your developers have the same issue of blurry video before playback? and then after pressing play the video itself it ok?

I think this is specific to Chrome browser. It works fine in Firefox and Safari browsers. The first video, the id hardcoded, for the second video the is is set on page show event.

Here is a screenshot from Firefox:

And this is a screenshot from Safari:

I found this threat on StackOverflow which might help with the error in Chrome: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24...

Hi Max,

apologies for the delay.

I'm attaching a screenshot from an iPhone using the appery app, and you can see this is an issue outside of Chrome. Image

I don't know why this happens. For some reason YouTube services the image in lower resolution when the video id is set in runtime. You can try using a custom YouTube widget via the HTML component.
