Collapsible block with dynamic content

Post by Deon »

Hi

I have had another requirement to insert a list into a collapseblock. The list does not display at all with the colapse block. As soon as I take the list out the colapseblock it displays perfectly.

I have tried both my own solution as well as Maryna's.

Has anything changed? Cant seem to put a list in a colapseblock anymore?

My older apps that were working are now crashing on this function.

Does this have to do with the library updates again???

Hi Deon,

I've tried following:

1 Put collapsible on the page.
2 Put list inside the collapsible block.
3 Iterate list component with some "list" service datasource.
Page Details: http://prntscr.com/7q12f2/direct
Mapping details: http://prntscr.com/7q1409/direct

And got the following result:
http://prntscr.com/7q12ui/direct

Is that exactly what you want to implement ?
If so please try same steps on new page.

Regards.

Hi Yuri
Thank you for your response.

No. That is not the problem. If you read the thread you would notice that the list must be dependent on the value of the collapsblock heaeder. You need to invoke a query based service to display a list which query is based on the text value of its collapseblock header.

Just putting a list into the colapseblock item works fine. That is not the problem I am trying to resolve.

I suspect that the the problem is happening because of this console message (Again update related. It is crazy. There are no change control procedures in place to ensure backward compatibility)

CONSOLE MESSAGE: "Attr child nodes are deprecated and will be removed in M45, around August 2015. Please use 'Attr.value' instead. "

For some reason the the collapseblock is not accepting child nodes.
When I put an alert on Colapseblock EXPAND the alert loops indefinitly. The only plus is that the correct value of the header text is displayed.

Hi Deon,

Thanks for this clarification.

But it's hard to say how to fix it when i can not see implementation.

Please give us your app public link and describe steps to reproduce this problem in your app.

I guess you just don't get needed value from collapsible header and thus list response is wrong(empty).

Regards.

Hi Yurii

Correct. Although the alert produces the right value.

Link: Sleep Anywhere

It will open the page.
