Dear All,

We are going to release Appery.io version with upgraded Apache Cordova version and iOS8 support.

We would appreciate if you can share your experience of running Appery.io apps on iOS8 devices!

Please post any problems/issues you have with iOS8 version so we can review and fix them.

Note that there is no formal iOS8 support from Apache Cordova
until version 3.7. More information is here

The only issue major issue I have run into is that push notification event is not firing when I am within the app.

Another point, I havent figured out if it is appery specific issue. IOS8 supports Test Flight for internal testers but when the build is uploaded to iTunes thre is a warning. "To use TestFlight Beta Testing, this build must contain the correct beta entitlement."

Thank you for the feedback! We reported the Push Notifications issue.
Regarding uploading, it seems to be caused by your Apple provisioning profile.

Can you expand on provisioning profile. I regenerated the profile but there is no difference. Is there something specific I need to do? Do I need to regenerate certificates as well?

Hello,

I'm having issues with text on my buttons and placeholders for input fields in iOS 8.

As you can see, the text on the button and the placeholder the input fields is not showing. I've added a font called DIN Pro and it's just not showing it in the buttons and input fields. What's weird is that the labels do show with the font.

I developed and app with the new editor. I configured push notifications and installed ipa on my iphone (ios V 7.1)

Every thing works fine, push notifications are delivered ok..

But when I exported the file to xcode (Im using xcode version 5.1.1) I got 9 errors all in the PushNotification.m in the peace of code // iOS 8 Notification

I generate distribution, and push notification certs again...but thar didnt help...

What should I do to fix this ?? I need to submit this app to appStore ASAP..
