Hi there,

I use the default device geolocation service and only get a success some of the time. I have not changed any of the service options.

Situation:
It works all of the time on the browser
Works some of the time on one mobile device (android)
Works none of the time on a second mobile device (android)

Can you please advise how I can fix this issue.

Hi JimmyH may i try your app? I encountered same problem but in my case it does not work on my android device. but works perfectly on browser.

Hi Hero, Sorry but I'm not sure how I can share the app with you as there are login requirements etc (due to an earlier version being on the app stores).

Could you please clarify a few questions:
Have you changed anything on the Source tab?
What Appery.io libraries version and plugins versions you are using in your app?
And what are Android versions of your devices?

I did not changed anything on the Source tab.
Ionic Blank project Library version 1.2, core cordova plugin camera 2.3.0, Geolocation 2.4.0.
Android 7.1.1.

Sorry about the slow response.

library: V4.0
Android: 5.1 and 6.0.1

The only changes to the source tab have been for a couple of icons. This works fine.

Hello Jimmy,

The fact that there are no issues when you are working in the browser indicates that there is the highest probability of some problems (inconsistencies) with some of the Android library(ies).
Please make sure you use the last version of the plugins in your app, if you use libraries version 4.0 there.
Also, the source changes may be causing such misbehavior.

As you can see (previous post) I am using the most current library and was using the most recent cordova geolocation plugin.

2) Test credentials if login functionality is implemented in your app
3) Detailed steps to reproduce the issue
