That was possible to me about two months ago. But now I can't do any operation with copy-paste using key combinations:
copy or paste within "text"
copy or paste any element
etc.
My operation system is Ubuntu 10.10 (Linux nick 2.6.35-29-generic #51-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 15 17:13:54 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux).
Browser - any.
Situation with Ctrl+z is the same.
I just tried copy and paste (text and controls) on Ubuntu 11.04 in Chrome and Firefox and it worked in both browsers. Do you mind trying one more time (after a browser restart)?
What is your kernel version? flash player version?
2.6.38-8-generic

Glad it's working now.
In addition:
I have two keyboard layouts (english and russion) and it works in english layout only. But that isn't bug of Gotiggr. It seems to me that is caused by Flash plug-in.
