We are really sorry that you have been kept waiting for so long but, unfortunately, we have not had a possibility to test on this very model and thus cannot guarantee the full support of it.
We are researching the issue though.
From your side, have you tried exporting the app into XCode or AndroidStudio and then add images from there?

Please refer to the link below. I use auto updates, which overrides changes made in Android Studio. So using Android studio is not an option to solve Appery.io problems. Please fix on your platform.

This may also apply to Splash screens for the newer IPHONES. Iphone 7 and up. Their images render in ratio but not aligned to the center.

This is on our to-do list and our development team is going to add this feature. But, unfortunately, I can't tell you the ETA yet, as soon as we have any update we'll post it.
