iOS launch image jumps

Hello Matt, could you please clarify which Libraries version you using with your project?
The iPhone 7 is shipped with iOS 10 on board, and we can't test your case with iOS 8.

If the launch images does not works correctly for your case, you can disable Splashscreen Cordova plugin from your App Settings Cordova plugins.

iOS launch image jumps

Sorry, I meant that I am using an iphone 7 with ios 10.2 installed but the deployment target for the app created on appery is set to minimum ios 8.0. I tried setting the deployment target to 8.1 as well but that didn't change anything. My library version is v1.1 for the app. I disabled the cordova splashscreen and tried it in xcode but it made no difference.

Possibly this could be related to a Cordova Splashscreen plugin compatibility version. We are going to update our Cordova platform and its device plugins for iOS in our nearest upcoming release.

Ok excellent, hopefully the update fixes it but If I find a temp workaround I'll post it here. Do you all have a rough date estimate of when the next update will be rolled out?

It would be great Matt, if you share your solution with community.

At this point we're planning for January 22

Yes. I updated to the latest library (v4.0) for the jquery mobile app and the problem was resolved.
