Error when opening app in IE

I'm getting an error when opening my app in IE as below. This doesn't happen in chrome...

I have republished and now I'm getting a blank page in IE and in Chrome my favicon isn't displaying. Can someone please take a look?

I tried adding a favicon and have had a few issues. I tried reverting the source code back but now some images are missing at runtime but show at design time. AN example is the main image here

Can you tell me how I can get these back?

I understood you don't support IE for developing in but the web app should be able to run in it and it used to

I have created a favicons folder and added all the files and then changed the index.html as shown in screenshot. The favicon is not appearing for website though....

Would the wrong icon file type stop the whole app working in IE? I am unable to login in IE.

This is what I have in my folders and index.html file. No icon appears in Chrome or IE. I can logon in Chrome but cannot in IE browser. I have also tried just the .ico file without using animated gif but same result.
