Problem with Tutorial: Uploading files to the Appery.io database ?

Is there a know problem with the Tutorial http://devcenter.appery.io/tutorials/... ?

Behavior during Test:
On Mac (Chrome 35): I successfully logged in and selected a small file (with ony alpha numeric characters) and hit the upload button. It gave me the "Your file was successfully uploaded" alert. I went into the DB and clicked on files collection and did not see any entries. Freshed... still nothing.

I then then tried it on my Iphone (using both updated Safari and current rev of Chrome - 35). I chose a picture and hit upload... I got HTTP://appery.io Error: Bad Request. Refreshed the database page and still no files.

Its ok if there is a bug in the tutorial... just want to know so I dont scratch my head over it too much longer

(until I delete it... I am currently on the free plan as I get up to speed

Hi there, I made the app and install it on :
Android 4.4.2 (2 Samsung devices : a Note3 and a Note tablet): on both cannot activate the browser to choose files.
Android 4.4.4 (Moto G) : can choose file. however for upload I get the "time out" error.
any similar feedback from others or any advice ?

pls gimme more details about what you like to know beside the app tutorial itself ?

Hi EJLD,

It's strange behavior, cause of this is simple input[type="file"]. And this functionality handles only with core..

Please take a look into weinre debugger when you try to open file dialog. I guess there could be some errors..(fore example on the app load, etc..).

checked with weinre. i'm learning everyday

could upload a file with my poor Motorola 4.4.4
but still no success with the top end Samsung 4.4.2
no response when pressing [choose files] button located inside the input.
in addition, when pressing "upload" to trigger the service. the answer is "file successfully uploaded" even though no file was selected.

anyone else came up with issues when using 4.4.2 or Note3 ?
