UI glitches with iOS7 theme

Hello!

We investigated this problem further - black lines and rectangular box issues are caused by your custom code.

There is predefined themes schema defined on Source tab in startScreen.html file - ios7 theme goes first (line 14), then mobilebase theme (line 127). This is a sequence you shouldn't change.

Nevertheless you redefine it in toggle_correction_iOS7_theme.
Please try commenting this custom code - problems are no longer reproducible.

UI glitches with iOS7 theme

Hi Maryna,

I appreciate the status update and resolution suggestions. Please see my comments below:

1) The custom code being used in toggle_correction_iOS7_theme is as suggested here:
https://getsatisfaction.com/apperyio/...

I intend to keep the solution suggested on above link, and avoid the UI issues we are discussing in this thread. Without the code, the toggle component has problems rendering it unacceptable in terms of usability (as described in above thread).

2) I am using virtual clicks as was suggested here:
=14880224#reply_14880224]https://getsatisfaction.com/apperyio/...
I'll ask for help in learning how I can follow the solution suggestion on above link and not run into navbar issues which we are discussing here.

3) I haven't heard about the spinner issue: this is a major UI glitch which I am hoping to get rectified.

As regards the UI, we have spent quite a bit of time picking and selecting themes and swatches including feedback from small scale trials. That said from what we've tried so far, above issues are hard to get rid of without damaging the look and feel which could very much mean app rejection by Apple.

Regards.

I see it was suggested by Yurii, I'll assign this ticket to Yurii if you don't mind.

Hello Cody!

We are trying to figure out whether code from Yurii doesn't work because of another bug, or there is something to do with code...

Hello Cody!

It was confirmed that issue is caused by code generation bug. If there was no such a bug, you wouldn't have used code provided by Yurii as a workaround and have issues listed in this post.

It's planed to fix in upcoming release (late February). I hope nothing is changed, because fix shouldn't take much time, but testing will cover all the themes and something else might be broken... Devs and QA will estimate this task and I'll post an update here.
