console.log and alert commands not working

I can't reproduce this from my side, could you please be more specific as on what platform you experiencing this and which libraries version are set in the Appery.io project settings?

I have actually trashed the app and started again. Seems to work fine now. The same app was not allowing auto updates. Seems like something was corrupt in the app.
