I'm having really a hard time trying to connect to an external databases.

I have tried with both an Heroku Postgres and AWS Postgres.

I can connect to both database from my laptop without problems.

When trying to test the Heroku db connection I receive a message saying to check the connection details again (which I have done a dozen times) I have followed https://docs.appery.io/v2.4.0/docs/ap... and tried with and without
Connection Properties: ssl=true&sslfactory=org.postgresql.ssl.NonValidatingFactory

When I test the AWS db connection it instead hangs with the spinning wheel without ever connecting.

Any help or advice would be highly appreciated.

Could you please share your API Express project link with us, that we could test it from our side?

If this connection spinning endlessly on the page, you can check the browser developer tools console to see the actual result which you are getting there in Network tab.
