Size of launch images

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the launch images and I can not understand why.
I uploaded images for all sizes: 426x320, 470x320, 640x480, 960x720.
When I try the version with the new images, holding the phone vertically (normal use) I images appear "squashed" and closer, so as to deform any logos and pictures that should appear normal.
If I'm going to leave out some setting?

Hi Mauro, we couldn't upload pictures to launch Android with Appery, we had to compile with Eclipse using 9-patch images, look at here:

https://getsatisfaction.com/apperyio/...

The support team said that Appery.IO works well with the images to launch Android, but I disagree with them,

We couldn't with Appery.IO, and, in the end, we used eclipse and 9-patch images.

Thanks you very much rafael martinez, so the only way it's to use 9-patch images? you have already solved this problem?

Yes, downloading the source code, by replacing the Appery.IO's images with 9-patch images and compiling using eclipse.

Only in this way, never using Appery.IO.

Yeah, this s***t for a bunch of images..... a real thank you to Rafael, and not to appery.io support.
PS: Rafael, you use another website for the app?

In my opinion, Appery.IO is simply the best platform for hybrid mobile app development.

The Appery.IO support team is very fast, very friendly and they provide very good ideas and solutions. For this issue I disagrre with them, no more and no less than this.

Hello! Sorry for inconvenience, we'll report a bug. By the way there is no need to do that using Eclipse, it can be done in Appery.io builder. Try to upload *.9.png images in App Settings on Android binary tab. Then rename uploaded files from splash.png to splash.9.png on source -- Android folders -- projectName-res- drawable-xhdpi/hdpi/mdpi/ldp or just upload files with necesessary size to Android- projectName-res- drawable-xhdpi/hdpi/mdpi/ldpi. We checked and it works.

Hi Maryna, if the images has the exact size that Appery.IO force on upload: 426x320, 470x320, 640x480, 960x720 this could be a solution.

But unfortunately, our 9-patch images has these exact sizes:

lhdpi: 162x162
mdpi: 242x242
hdpi: 322x322
xhdpi: 482x482

These sizes are already in our production App one week ago without reported issues by the users in any screen size.

I don't know why Phonegap says "The size for each image should be

xlarge (xhdpi): at least 960 × 720
large (hdpi): at least 640 × 480
medium (mdpi): at least 470 × 320
small (ldpi): at least 426 × 320
