I just build the app with the current app setting.
Sorry for not being clear, I mean how I can reproduce the issue in your app that you have described with status bar on your screen shots?
1)I added the Splash screens
2)I select uistatusbarhidden to 'no'.
3) build with production version.
4) install app on your device.

I'm using your app build -- and I don't see any issues. Or could you please explain what exactly is incorrect on your screen shot.
In release version : The status bar is shown inside header space.(overlapping header buttons)
In development version: The status bar is shown inside extra space over header. (What i need)
