Accessing the footer with Javascript

Hi,

I'm trying to change button images in my footer to highly the current page. I can't seem the get the Appery API to find the image so I can switch it. I even tried to hide the entire footer without luck: Appery('Earn_mobilefooter').hide();

Any pointers?
