Domain hosted app not working with mobile Safari/iOS

I have my app hosted through my own domain straight from appery. It works in my chrome desktop, and chrome mobile browser on Android, as well as friends android devices.

The problem arises when the user clicks a button that invokes a service and sets some local variables. So far it has failed on iPhone 6 and iPhone 5 with up to date safari browsers.

Is there anything I can try right away to remedy this problem or is more information needed to properly diagnose this?

I've just found out it works on apple devices that use the chrome browser. Must be something wrong with the app and safari.

Resolved

It was because private browsing was enabled (by default?).
Disabling private browsing fixed the problem.
