How can i sign the Android APK with an own certificate?

Help!

We need to sign the Android app with a owned certificate since next releases will be developed without Appery.

Is there a way to do that using the function "import certificate" of the Appery Resources page? How can we produce the cert file Appery wants?

Hello Giorgio,

Sure you can use your own Android certificate. You can import it as it is shown here: https://devcenter.appery.io/documenta...

How can i sign the Android APK with an own certificate?

Thanks Evgene,

i know how to generate a certificate for iOS. In the member site Apple provides the developers tools.
I didn't find a way to produce an Android certificate acceptable for Appery.
I can produce a keystore using Android SDK tools but not the certificate Appery is requiring. Where and how is it supposed will be generated?

I'm sorry Evegene. I was looking for an unexistent "certificate" file.
In real what the Appery feature call "certificate" is really the android keystore file.
Non so easy to imagine ...

For other guys:
if you want certificate the appery app with a personal certificate, use the Appery Resource page feature "Import certificate" and select the ".keystore" Android SDK file.
If you don't have a ".keystore" file, you can produce it as stated on the above links.
