File Uploading & Creating Collections??

I don't understand why you can upload files to the file section, but then not be able to use them as collections. I guess I don't understand what the purpose of uploading files of you just have to create a collection.. Also, if you have up create a collection but it will have multiple users information in it. Can I embed the file with the ACL information.

Hi Hannah,

Currently these options are not available on Appery.io.

But if you need this functionality, you can add custom "customFiles" collection. Where you can store file "name" from system "Files" collection. So you can access this files collection as you need after.

Does it mean I can only upload files to media manager but cannot use it?

Nope, that's not about it..

You can upload images to the media manager and use it in the app(for example for image component as asset).

In my app, user is uploading in the database default file collection via app and i need only that the file would upload in my custom collection where there are more info about that file or at least there is a reference in my custom collection to the file collection.

Please help!
