Uploading Image Files

I was trying to use the tutorial here:

But after completing the tutorial I realized that it did't work for Image files.

So then I found this:

And that seemed a bit involved just to get what you have demonstrated in your tutorial to work. Is there no way to upload image files the way you do in your tutorial?

I can take screen shots of everything I did if that helps you get a feel for my level of competency. I think that an upload file control would be a good addition to your tool set. Anyway if you could help me figure out how to get the image file that gets uploaded to actually render after its uploaded. Also I noticed in your tutorial there is a fileurl variable in the response but there is no field in the fileDB that represents that value:

also when trying to open the file it does save to the db it says this in windows preview viewer :

becuase it was posted as the proper content type. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry Igor what I wanted was for a user to be able to upload an image of thier choice and then save that image. Then once uploaded retrive its location url so that I can set it to an asset on another screen.

I ask only that you try and create a project where in you can upload an image file save it to the aperry.io db and then download the file you saved and see if you can open the file and see the image you expect.

That is the problem I am having.
