Test works on browser preview or if I scan it with QR Code Reader, but if I mail the link and try to open on my Safari B

Application works well when I test it on the appery.IO Test browser (web preview) or scan with QR code reader. If I try to email the link and open link in my iPhone Safary browser it does not work properly. Would anyone have an idea or faced something similar in the past?

The issue that is failing on the device seems to be the rest services. It works on the web preview or if I scan it as a QR code reader.

Please assist.

I'm running the rest service on Page Show and Rendering all pages in one HTML file.

Besides the rest services, it is not updating the labels with value of local storages on the second page. I'm also using Page Show to read values from local storage and display on label, works on the web preview, QR Code but not if email link.

Hello Alberto,

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand you correctly, could you please clarify what link do you mean?

Hi Evgene,

Thanks for the feedback, the link to my application is:

http://appery.io/app/mobile-frame?src...

On the first page, you will see a list of categories, if you click on any list item, it takes you to the second page. On the second page, there is a label at the top that displays the name of the category selected on the first page.

This is working well on the web preview, but if I try to open on my iphone, the label on the second page is displaying "undefined" instead of the category name.

Why would it work on the web preview but not on my iPhone browser?

Hello Alberto,

Could you please clarify do you get any errors or warning in a browser console when you test your app in a browser?

Thank you,

Hi Evgene,

When I opened the link on my iPhone, I got the following error:

"Error: QuotaExceededError: DOM Exception 22"

Is this a restriction of the free account? or is a restriction from Parse?

Sincerely,

Alberto

When I opened the link on my iPhone using Chrome it worked, but when I tried with Safari it gave me the error message I described above.

It this something related with localstorage and the iPhone Safari browser?

Sincerely,

Alberto

Hi Evgene,

Good news, I got it working. I clicked by mistake the Private mode on the iPhone Safari browser and that was what caused the issue.

I turned off Private mode and then it worked after that.
