You should add a request parameter 'where'. Pass there an id of user that logged in to your app:

Hi Katya
I'm sorry I still don't understand 
You say 'pass there' and I'm not sure what you mean? Also this assumes I have the ID of users already, when obviously I might not as they have not registered yet. Or am I misunderstanding!?
EDIT: So frustrating! I now seem to be having a problem with writing to my database collection again sigh gah!

To 'where' parameter, it can be done with mapping if you don't want to use predefined value.
