Extra auto divider section at the top of the list

Hello,
After enabling Autodivider option on my list I get an extra, unwanted autodivider section at the top of my list. It is marked with "W" letter (see the screen below). I have checked and it comes from item list which I populate with REST service. One of the labels inserted here starts with letter "W" . I am sure that this is the label because when I change that first letter the extra autodivider section changes to, but it always stays at the top of the list. You can see that label marked on the second screen below.
So my question is how do I get the rid of this extra section?

Honestly, I can't get any connection between these two issues. My mapping is different. I do not use two separate REST services. Autodivider is shown properly, except the first section which comes basically "out of the blue".
Just to be sure that you understood me correctly:
On the list (that I populate from REST call) I have got one label containing text "wiecej". As you see it starts with letter "W" and somehow it is being taken as autodivider separator. When I change the text inside this label let's say to "awiecej" the letter shown by autodivider changes to "A". It stays at the top of the list, even if there is another "A" or "W" divider section present.
At the same time subsequent sections of autodivider are OK.
