Ok so when I use a button on the popup page then it works. But on the page load it still load the old description...

What if I hide the button then on page load i call the button on click it.

It wouldn't work. You can use the same code which are you using on ".btnreload" cliclk. Can you share app with support@appery,io?

Sorry for delay. As I understand your project isn't shared with support anymore.
You can use another variant it's very similar with those that Katya propose to you.
When you calling the service to get image and title you can save item id to localStorage or to the hide label, after that you can open popup and call the service using item id. You should get rss description in such way.
