There is an issue with the jQuery Mobile black theme - it adds the shadow and there is no simple way to overwrite it. A workaround is to set the header/footer to black themes separately and the screen body set to grey theme. You don't get a shadow this way. We'll try to figure out why the shadow is not reset when using black theme.
