Hi George,
You can put code from these two files into single JS asset with needed order.
For example in the top of the asset you can put "jQplot" and "dateAxisRenderer" at the bottom of this JS asset.

Thanks. I got this working. I now understand that the names of files in appery don't mean anything other than that they load in alphabetical order.
