Hello! You have incorrect response structure. Looks like node isn't array. Please uncheck Array for node in response in service newsDetail

Thanks Maryna, It solved my problem. I missed that thing out.

One more question if you don't mind.

THe back biutton does not appear in my newsDetail Page when I test it even if I set in on the header properties.

It will only appear if there is a page to go back (navigation history). The navigation has to happen via Ajax. It's a standard jQuery Mobile feature.
