Since we don't know your exact case, it is very hard to say what could be wrong here.
Inspect your elements using browser developer tools and apply different CSS rules for your particular case.

I have done following:
Added list component to page.
Selected noicon and made linkedas unchecked.
Made margin and padding as 0px.
Added code by you as well in custom css.
Please let me know what else you want to know?
