Does this mean that we are not using jquery mobile anymore in the "backend" ?

Not quite sure what you mean. We are supporting jQuery Mobile but only the new visual app builder version which has Model & Storage. Not the old one like for example shown here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
