I tried again and everything is working now. I can get filtered results back using the where clause and am able to format the results to be displayed as just a label.

Sorry to be a pain but I have another quick question.

I've got a 2 col grid with each column containing a label. The text length of the label in column1 is too long and runs into column2. Is it possible to set the label in column1 to wrap so that the text is contained within the first column.

You should be able to do that with CSS.
