App very slow to load and slow to test

What is the limit on number of pages? 
I am showing tourism information - mostly text and 1 image per page

Why don't you use DB to store your information with text and images? Then you can get them REST service. It can really decrease your pages number
I am new to this and have just mastered drag and drop.
I can read up on DB
Do you feel it will speed things up?
Do you have any tutorials I can look at.
