I cannot set value to select menu in builder

I cant use than work around because it still means the end user has to type "_" between every word

but I was thinking this,
the message has 4 fields "car make" " colour" " reg no" and "drivers name" if I have these in db can use i selectmenu label to select from db and add the 3 fields to the USSD message

You can store database object ID in Value field. After some Select menu Option is chosen you can read parameters from database, known the collection row ID.
