Confused, which certificate? I have to generate a new certificate after any device I add? Please explain.

Hello Mike, each iOS device is identified by its unique device ID (UDID) that you register and add to a provisioning profile.

I know this, I've done all this before. Its not working. THIS FORUM based tech support can be a nightmare with your stuck. Around, and Around, and Around I go... Hours and hours and hours,

Just a NOTE: somebody please check -- I think its the Provision file that needs updating -- not the Certificate. Please please tell people the right thing.

which one is it? when adding a new mobile IOS device?

Hi Mike,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I mean the following actions.

Open devices setting in https://developer.apple.com/account/i... and see how many devices are already added. Then add the new devices UDID and save that.

Now when you come back to the provisioning profiles you can select all the devices and then press generate. Now you can easily download the updated provisioning profile. You may need the private key.

Then, build the project again using the updated provisioning profile.

Please let us know about the result.
